Did you know that Mirabeau means “Beautiful View”?
"Winter Wonderland" - A Guest Post by our Hotel Owner G. Sombrowski
Winter approaches and Thanksgiving is but days away. The winter festivals of Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanzaa, Solstice and New Year are but a few weeks away. For so many of us the best times of the year are about to begin. The cold frosty short days and the icy dark long nights give us time to pause, to chat with friends and family over the dinner table, to go to the theatre, the opera, the ballet or a concert, give us a chance to dress up in beautiful clothes and beguile our loved ones, give us moments to curl up with a cup of tea or a Gluhwein or a hot toddy. We can go for walks on snowy nights, ski down white pistes, skate on frozen ponds, snowshoe across snow covered fields, or just look out the window and watch the snow fall. Find joy in winter and suddenly cold hands, and frozen windshields and slippery roads will be but small inconveniences in the grandest season of them all. We look forward to helping you celebrate the season and all the many wonderful events that it brings.
Happy Tenth Anniversary Mirabeau Park Hotel!
Yes it is true. Ten years ago on August 15, 2003 the Mirabeau Park Hotel became an independently owned and operated property – and a great ten years it has been. During the past ten years the hotel has undergone extensive renovation and continues to see further exciting changes every year. The Mirabeau Park Hotel was conceived in the belief that an independent hotel can thrive in a market filled with brand names that limit patron options because of rigid brand guidelines and the higher prices that come with brand names. Our original vision ten years ago was to provide the highest possible quality at price points that don’t include franchise fees and which allow for a unique experience. We believe that a hotel should be true to its architecture and true to its community and that there are patrons who don’t want to stay in cookie cutter hotels based on head office design guidelines. The proof is in - it can be done. Our remodelling throughout the years has begun to set a distinctive standard that is true to the region and the property. We also believed that the Spokane Valley was ready for a dining experience that rivaled those offered to patrons in more urban environments. We were right - Max Restaurant and Bar is the proof that a restaurant that serves great innovative food with an extensive menu can be a success in the Spokane Valley.
But we didn’t do it alone. Our patrons have been a solid rock bed upon which we have built our success and we would like to thank all of you for your faith in us and our vision. We couldn’t have done it if you hadn’t kept being great supporters even as we experimented, and even as we sometimes got it wrong. Your steadfast and dedicated support not only makes it possible but makes it worth doing. Thank You!
We’d also like to thank our partners in the community. It is so wonderful having friends and neighbours like our partners in the City of Spokane Valley and in the Spokane region. What a fantastic community and we are so proud to be a part of it!!
“Very Nice Property”
We stayed at the Mirabeau Park Hotel for 5 nights and found it to be a great hotel for a longer stay. The grounds were well maintained as was the hotel. It has everything you need . The restaurant was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were well equipped and spotless. The beds were better than most I have stayed in. It is also very handy to some large shopping malls which my wife liked..

“Extremely Helpful Staff”
I booked a room here through an online site and then proceeded to need to change it twice! The front desk staff was very accommodating, even when it was all my fault. The room was very comfortable with great comforters, 4 pillows per bed (2 great, 2 so-so), and a super soft blanket. We had a balcony, the pool was perfect with long hours, and the hotel threw in 2 breakfast vouchers. The bar had a decent happy hour. There was no fridge in the room, which would have been nice. And, we didn't turn on the TV, so no information on that. We stayed here after a day at Silverwood, and we shopped at Spokane Valley Mall before heading home.

I've stayed at this hotel several times while travelling through Spokane. Each time I've had a different "level" of room which gives me a well rounded view of accommodations. Overall, the rooms at all levels are extreme comfortable and clean. The standard and premium rooms could use a little updating in terms of decor, but they are still a great stay and well worth the money. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. On my first stay they were able to change my room after I complained about mosquitos in it. On my most recent stay, the man at the desk recognized me from previous stays and was exceptionally friendly. It's nice to know I'm not just a body in a room. All of the staff have been wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again

Had to make a quick unplanned trip to Spokane. Normally stay in airport area. Business took me to the valley on this trip. Booked at the Mirabeau Park Hotel. From the moment that I booked with Shift Manager, Jessy through to arrival and departure everything was great. Very clean. Quiet despite being close to the freeway. Close to shopping and food outlets. Ate at the hotel restaurant. Very good service, quality of food was excellent and personnel were friendly. Because of diet had to order something special not on the menu. The Chef accommodated despite having a busy restaurant - food was perfect. Great job to the culinary department and waiter. Will plan on staying at this hotel again. Normally travel to Spokane 3-4 times per year.

“Lovely place, great for getting exercise!”
I attended a convention here. The room was lovely, the food in the restaurant superb, the grounds very well kept. You get your exercise moving around in the hotel, because it's mostly 2 floors, and the hallways to the rooms spread in several directions. Our meeting spaces were very good, both in the banquet spaces and in the smaller meeting rooms. I was not there for the banquet, so can't speak to it.
